Senator Bradley brings more than 30 years of experience as a public official and business leader to LRN. "I embarked on a career in public service to change the world. "We are aligning ourselves with someone of the Senator's stature at a critical time in the company's and market's development. His intellect, demonstrated record of unassailable probity and deep experience as a public servant and successful businessman will provide vital insight, counsel and guidance at an important time in the company's journey to becoming a corporation of enduring significance," said Dov Seidman, CEO and chairman of LRN.

"LRN has built its business on the belief that strong ethical corporate cultures greatly contribute to long-term success of organizations. At no other time in history has it been more practical to be principled. Senator Bradley joins the LRN board at a time where companies are increasing their investment in doing things right."

In addition to Allen & Company LLC, Senator Bradley, from 2001-2004, was chief outside advisor to McKinsey & Company's non-profit practice and he remains a member of the International Council of J.P. Morgan & Company Inc.

Senator Bradley served in the U.S. Senate representing the state of New Jersey for 18 years and was a candidate for the 2000 Democratic nomination for President of the United States.

Prior to serving in the Senate, he was an Olympic gold medalist and a professional basketball player for the New York Knicks during which he helped the team win two NBA championships.

Senator Bradley has authored five books on American politics, culture and economy and also serves as a member of the Board of Directors for Seagate Technology, Starbucks Coffee Company and Willis Group Holdings Limited.
