Axena Inc., the corporate governance software and services company, announced that it has opened its European headquarters in the United Kingdom to meet the growing international demand for corporate governance software and consulting services. It has appointed corporate governance expert Linda Duncan as Managing Director, Europe.

Duncan has more than 20 years of experience in the corporate governance, risk management and internal audit business.

Duncan joined Axena from KPMG, where she was a partner in their Risk Advisory Services in London. Prior to KPMG, she was a director in the legacy firm of Price Waterhouse, where she led a team providing governance, risk management and internal audit services to the not-for-profit sectors.
