Benjamin Gadon, CPA, has joined Marks Paneth & Shron LLP (MP&S), the 34th largest accounting firm in the United States, as a Tax Partner. Backed by a distinguished 25 year career in public accounting and tax, Mr. Gadon has built a strong practice representing companies on a wide array of tax issues including providing both state and local (SALT) and international tax compliance and consulting services as well as assistance with the financial statement reporting of taxes.

Prior to joining Marks Paneth & Shron, Mr. Gadon had held various tax specialist positions with Phillips Gold & Company LLP, Paul Scherer & Co., Coopers & Lybrand and Arthur Young and Company. His more recent experience included seven years with Deloitte & Touche LLP in New York City. While with Deloitte, Mr. Gadon worked with a diverse group of public and closely held multinational corporations in industries ranging from media to hospitality, professional services, and high technology. In addition, he provided tax compliance and consulting services to high net-worth individuals and closely held companies.

He holds both a Bachelor and Masters of Accounting with a concentration in tax from the University of Florida. Mr. Gadon will be based out of Marks Paneth & Shron LLP?s Manhattan office.
