The Society of Corporate Compliance and Ethics (SCCE), an international, non-profit organization dedicated to improving the quality of corporate governance, compliance, and ethics has named Dennis Muse to its Advisory Board. Dennis is the Chief Executive Officer for Global Compliance, a leading provider of integrated ethics and compliance solutions.

?We are pleased that Dennis has agreed to serve on our Advisory Board. In addition to being a strong supporter of the SCCE, Dennis has been an active thought leader on the international ethics and compliance front, and a contributor to the development of industry standards,? stated SCCE Chief Executive Officer Roy Snell. ?I?m confident that Dennis will be a strong champion for our organization throughout his tenure, and I look forward to working closely with him.?

?I am pleased to have the opportunity to serve a growing organization such as SCCE whose mission is to champion corporate ethics and compliance standards,? said Dennis Muse. ?Legislation and regulation, along with language and cultural variations throughout the world, has increased the complexity of the ethics and compliance function in recent years. Ethics and compliance professionals are eagerly seeking forums and resources to gain knowledge of issues and to formulate best practices, and SCCE is positioning itself to serve this need,? continued Muse.

The role of the SCCE Advisory Board is to determine policies, procedures, and regulations for the conduct of the organization, to raise funds to finance the organization and its programs, and to monitor organizational performance. The Board governs the Society by emphasizing strategic direction and values. Headquartered in Minneapolis, Minnesota, the SCCE facilitates the development and maintenance of compliance programs, and provides tools, resources, and educational forums for those involved with ethics and compliance.

The SCCE recently announced the Certified Compliance and Ethics Professional (CCEP) exam, a project involving the certification of ethics and compliance professionals across all industries. For more information about the SCCE, please visit www.corporatecompliance.org
