Ed Peek VP of Worldwide Sales Shavlik Technologies

Shavlik Technologies, LLC, the global leader in simplifying complex IT security and compliance challenges, has announced that industry veteran Ed Peek has been promoted to  vice president of worldwide sales, reporting directly to Chris Schwartzbauer, Shavlik’s vice president of worldwide field operations.  Peek is a security and storage industry veteran with more than 25 years of experience, and is responsible for leading Shavlik’s global sales organization and reseller network in marketing Shavlik’s branded security software.

Peek was promoted to his current position from director, worldwide sales, which he has held since 2006.  A key leader in developing Shavlik’s sales organization into a world class team, he will work closely with Rocco Donnino, Shavlik’s vice president of business development on alliance and strategic partner sales to maximize our partnering efforts.   As a director, Peek led Shavlik’s sales team with his expertise in selling security products, strategic business planning and corporate, partner and relationship management.

Prior to joining Shavlik, Peek held several senior level sales and management positions with leading technology and security companies including HMK USA, Sun Microsystems, LSC LLC, Secure Computing Corporation, Alliant Techsystems, Inc. and Honeywell.  He has significant experience in Federal Government sales.  His knowledge of the security and storage industries is an asset to Shavlik’s compliance solutions sales. Peek is a retired U.S. Marine Corps Officer, decorated for heroism in Operation Desert Storm, and is a graduate of the Auburn University College of Business.
