Parson Consulting Appoints Jay Singh

Parson Consulting announced a new appointment that will further enhance the firm's capability to serve clients throughout the New York region. Jay Singh has been appointed to the role of practice director, governance and risk management for the firm's New York office.

Jay Singh brings over 30 years of executive management and consulting experience with extensive knowledge in enterprise risk and internal controls integrated with Sarbanes-Oxley and COSO. He has led internal control assessments facilitating change management for Fortune 100 companies in the financial services, industrial, telecommunications, and insurance industries. "Jay brings a unique cross-industry perspective on "best in class" practices," said Toni Hicks, senior vice president of practices at Parson Consulting. "His thought leadership and industry expertise in business risk management will be instrumental in assisting our clients in their compliance efforts."

Singh has co-authored several books on corporate governance and is a frequent speaker at conferences, including guest appearances at the Wharton School of Business. He formerly served as an independent consultant affiliated with Harborview Partners and The Paaras Group. Prior to that, he was director of global risk management services for PricewaterhouseCoopers. He has an ME in Industrial Management from the City College of New York.
