PwC US Announces Six Partner Promotions in Minneapolis

PwC US has announced that six professionals from its Minneapolis office will be admitted into the firm's partnership, effective July 1, 2014.

Darcy Hilgendorf will be admitted as a partner in PwC’s Tax Services practice. She brings more than 17 years of tax experience helping clients across multiple industries maximize their Section 199 and research and development tax credit claims. Her experience includes managing IRS audits, including guiding clients through the appeals process, as well as complex technical areas, such as software-related claims, treatment of acquisitions and dispositions, and expanded-affiliated and controlled group issues. Hilgendorf is a Certified Public Accountant (CPA), licensed in Minnesota. She holds a bachelor’s degree in business administration as well as a master’s degree in professional accounting-taxation from the University of Washington.

Matt Lodes will be admitted as a partner with PwC’s Tax Services practice. Lodes brings more than 11 years of experience serving insurance clients. His capabilities span a variety of tax matters including IFRS, SEC, GAAPP and statutory tax accounting. Lodes has served as the lead tax director on several large insurance audit clients on the global level and has assisted PwC’s examination of the global tax provision. He holds a bachelor’s degree in business administration from Stamford University and a master’s degree in accounting from Saint Louis University. Lodes is a licensed CPA in Minnesota and Missouri.

Rik Reppe will be admitted as an advisory principal, serving the firm’s Customer Impact and Experience Design practice. He brings more than 10 years of consulting experience in airlines, retail, utilities, agri-business, consumer packaged goods, content creation, publishing and entertainment sectors. Reppe’s experience includes working with large, global companies on loyalty program strategy, redesign of research and release processes, enterprise mobile strategy, sales force transformation and customer relationship management strategies. He holds a bachelor’s degree in theatre from the University of Southern California and a master’s degree in economics from the University of Arizona.

Steve Robertson will be admitted as a principal in the firm’s Assurance Services practice. Robertson brings more than 18 years of experience serving consumer finance clients. He will continue to lead the consumer finance audit and non-audit services practice locally. Robertson graduated with a bachelor’s degree in business administration from the University of Wisconsin. He also received his masters in operations research and a master’s degree in business administration from the University of Maryland.

Shawn Serba will be admitted as a partner in the firm’s Assurance Services practice. Serba has more than 13 years of experience providing audit services to multinational and domestic corporations in various industries including manufacturing, distribution and service organizations. He works with both private and public companies on areas of external reporting, technical accounting research and financial statement audits. Serba holds a bachelor’s degree in accountancy and business administration from the University of North Dakota and is a licensed CPA in Minnesota and Ohio.

Jill Walker will be admitted as a partner in the firm’s Assurance Services practice. With more than 13 years of experience working with technology companies with a focus on revenue recognition, Walker’s clients have ranged from private start-up firms to large multinational companies. Her experience includes a role in the firm's national office where she advised technology clients and engagement teams regarding technical accounting, reporting and auditing matters related to SEC registrant filings. She has also served as a leader in the Minneapolis office on revenue recognition accounting guidance and other related SEC topics. Walker earned a bachelor’s degree in accounting from the University of St. Thomas and is a licensed CPA in Minnesota.
