Joe Lawless Joins Princeton Softech


New Vice President to focus on vision for expanding enterprise data management software sales

Princeton Softech, the market leader in database archiving, has announced the appointment of Joe Lawless to the position of Vice President and General Manager, NSA and APAC. In this role, Lawless will direct sales development and revenue growth in North America, South America and the Asia/Pacific region.

Prior to joining Princeton Softech, Lawless served as the Vice President of North American Sales at KVS, Inc. in Arlington, Texas. In this position, he tripled the size of the North American Sales Team and helped put the company on track to double revenue year over year. As Vice President of North American and International Sales at Verity, Inc. in Sunnyvale, Calif., Lawless delivered on 75 percent of corporate revenues in fiscal 2000 and 2001, and built a sales organization that was directly responsible for 200 percent sales growth over a three-year period. During the first half of his career, Lawless held positions as regional sales manager and Assistant Vice President of Sales at Computer Associates. During his eight year tenure, Computer Associates grew from $26M over $1B in annual sales.

During the first decade of his career, Lawless gained extensive enterprise software sales experience at Dynasty Technologies in Chicago, Ill., Intersolv in Rockville, Md. and Computer Associates in Garden City, N.Y. While at Computer Associates, Lawless was part of the core sales management team that grew revenues from $26M to over $1B from 1982 to 1989.
