Robin J. Zablow Joins BDO Seidman

BDO Seidman LLP, one of the nation?s leading professional service organizations, recently announced that Robin J. Zablow, JD, Ed.D., has joined the firm?s Litigation and Fraud Investigation practice. Dr. Zablow, a leading authority on corporate governance and ethics, will serve as a Senior Manager and will be located in the firm?s New York office.

Her duties will entail educating and advising corporate boards of Fortune 1000 businesses on corporate governance, corporate ethics, regulatory compliance, and fraud investigation and prevention issues. She will also be responsible for supporting BDO Seidman?s Critical Anti-Fraud Program (CAPsm), which advises clients on taking a proactive approach to preventing corporate fraud.

Robin Zablow, also brings a wide breadth of legal experience to BDO Seidman?s Litigation and Fraud Investigation practice. Prior to joining BDO, she served as Vice President and an Associate General Counsel at New York Mercantile Exchange, Inc., where she created and administered the corporate governance department.

In her capacity as the Vice President of Corporate Governance, she served as advisor to the board and the key management committees on corporate governance matters. Dr. Zablow also served as a trial attorney for the Division of Enforcement of the Commodity Futures Trading Commission and was involved in all aspects of federal litigation, fraud investigations and commodities regulation. She began her legal career as a law clerk to the Honorable Edward R. Korman, United States District Judge, Eastern District of New York.

Robin Zablow received both her masters and doctoral degree from Columbia University. The focus of her doctoral work was philosophy, ethics and the teaching of ethics. In addition, she holds a bachelor?s degree from Hunter College and a law degree from Brooklyn Law School. She is an active member of the Federal Bar Councils, has served as chairperson of the Fall Bench and Bar law conference, and has been a guest speaker and ethics panelist for law and educational conferences.
