MORGAN STANLEY Manages E-Learning with PLATEAU 4 LMS

Morgan Stanley (NYSE: MWD) has selected Plateau 4 Learning Management System (LMS) to help manage e-learning and enhance operational readiness for its employees around the world. Morgan Stanley will use Plateau 4 LMS as an enterprise platform to schedule, deliver and manage Web-based and classroom learning. Plateau 4 LMS will also allow Morgan Stanley to extend the delivery of a significant portion of its corporate training in an e-learning format.

Plateau 4 LMS is designed to deliver the following benefits: • Accelerate time-to-market: New product offerings and business strategies may be more rapidly deployed through the fast, efficient dissemination of mission-critical knowledge

• Manage regulatory requirements: Plateau 4 LMS can help financial services firms comply with Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) regulations and the Sarbanes-Oxley Act by providing time-stamped audit trails of learning events and knowledge transfers

• Enhance organizational readiness: Web-based delivery of corporate knowledge and new operating procedures can help organizations respond more rapidly to expected or unexpected change

• Improve training consistency: By consolidating learning efforts onto a single system, organizations can work toward having employees around the world trained in a consistent manner

Plateau 4 LMS will be integrated with several of Morgan Stanley's enterprise software applications, including its human resource management system, employee directory and content and collaboration infrastructure. These integrations will allow Morgan Stanley to assign learning plans to targeted employee populations, giving them immediate access to Morgan Stanley's library of online learning material.
